Charte for Busidays
The Busidays are an integrated part in the study programme of the student. It will be validated by the home university.
2. Each university organises Busidays of at least 3 working days. The organising university can provide a cultural programme starting from the weekend before the programme. Either way, students have to attend the whole programme on the dates established by each organising university. Students may choose to stay longer than the official programme, but the responsibility of the organising university stops after the closing ceremony.
3. Each university defines a topic, which is specific for its country, region or university.
4. The Busidays are preferably planned in the period March-April. The precise dates of the weeks are communicated in September of the academic year of the week.
5. Universities are allowed to validate their outgoing students with ECTS-credits. Students who do not participate fully in the programme will not receive credits. Every organising university provides each student with a certificate of participation.
6. Each host university is responsible for assigning marks to all participants according to their grading system. Home universities will then convert the grades into their local system.
7. The home university commits themselves to paying the participation fee for the number of outgoing students enrolled for the Busidays one month before the event starts. The costs related to late cancellations will be charged to the home university. The money should be transferred upon receiving the invoice, sent by the host university.
8. The host university organises accommodation and food (mentioned in the programme) for each incoming student. For the accompanying lecturers, the host university pays all the costs related to the programme except for accommodation and transport.
9. The language of communication is English.
10. Each university can send up to 3 home students enrolled at its university and 1 or 2 more if those are incoming students.
